DESCRIPTION

The 2026 K2 Reckoner KF is the signature ski of Karl Fostvedt, designed for sending cliffs, charging powder lines, and throwing tricks where most people wouldn’t dare. With its surfy twin-tip rocker profile and robust yet nimble build, this ski blends high-speed stability with playful freestyle performance. It’s made to stomp, slash, and spin, no matter how big the line or deep the landing.

Why we like it:

It’s fast, stable, and confident, but still has that loose, playful feel when you want to get creative in big terrain.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert skiers who like to ski hard and land deep. Perfect for riders who blend freeride power with freestyle expression.

Highlights:

Built with an Aspen core and reinforced with Carbon Boost, Pop Lock Carbon, and a Uni-Directional Flax layer, the KF version ups the energy and responsiveness without sacrificing that soft-snow finesse. Spectral Braid adds strength where it counts, and TwinTech sidewalls give you durability and edge precision. The Powder Twin Rocker profile features long, high-rise tips and tails for surfy maneuverability, and camber underfoot for grip and rebound. At 114 mm at the waist and with a 23 m radius, it’s ready to open things up.

Things to consider:

This ski is designed for advanced terrain and high-speed performance. While it’s fairly soft, it’s quite energetic, so less experienced skiers or those looking for a more forgiving, relaxed, or casual experience might find it a bit much. It’s important to note that the KF is intended to be mounted close to center, putting a lot of tail behind you – if you’re a fan of more directional skis, these may not be a good choice for you.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These true to size, and are meant to be skied long if you’re hitting open lines with big landings.

Thoughts
Deep snow or spring corn. Ski is 114 underfoot so it floats great in deep snow but needs to be steered rather than carved. When the ski does get on edge it can hold but take a little more effort to get it there.
Maybe the tail could be slightly narrower so it doesn't get stuck in the gondola.
Overal Impression
This ski looks fun! It was! Very playful and snappy.
