The 2026 Salomon QST Jr skis bring the versatility and progressive freeride design of the adult QST line into a juniorfriendly package, letting younger skiers explore the whole mountain with confidence. These skis balance playfulness and control for developing skiers who want one ski that does it all.
Why we like it:
They blend stability, ease of turn initiation, and fun in soft snow, encouraging progression across terrain without overwhelming young riders.
Who it's for:
Intermediate to advanced junior skiers ready for allmountain days, from groomers to soft snow.
Highlights:
Built with a lightweight poplar wood core and a freeride rocker profile that promotes easy turn entry, the QST Jr is stable yet lively. Its balanced shape helps juniors gain confidence while exploring varied snow conditions.
Things to consider:
Narrower waist and juniororiented flex mean these skis aren't suited for highspeed hard charging by adults.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Available in youthspecific lengths that scale with skier height; choose based on ability and preferred terrain.
