What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

Another great option for women skiers from Volkl. Easy to turn, lighter underfoot than the Mantra womens line, which makes it more forgiving and versatile on the hill. Really enjoyed this ski in the bumps and softer snow.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

Such a good ski for the whole mountain and for all day skiing as its lightweight and very maneuverable. Excellent in bumps and trees as well the groomers.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

High intermediate to advanced, because of the light weight and multiple turn radius its appropriate for a wide range of skiers looking for a fun, playful option!

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

It's heavy! Noticeably heavier than my older Blaze 94's. I had a hard time turning and had to lift my feet more than normal to initiate turns. Because of the weight and length I crossed tips and fell at one point where I normally wouldn't have struggled.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

If I weighed more or was a bit taller I'm sure I'd have had a better time throwing these around at the intermediate level I ski at.

If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?

Lighter! It would have made the length more forgiving for me but I recognize that my height and build is an outlier for most adults.

Loved! Quick on and off the edge when i want but also floaty and cuts through chunder reliably.

All mountain, I’d use this in trees, firm snow (not high speed GS turns necessarily) but they hold up, and wide open powder too!

Expert to advanced did great! But it seems forgiving enough for an intermediate as well?

True to size. I would choose this length if my conditioning was slightly less, but if your legs are conditioned, go the next size up at 6’1”

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

I liked the the weight under foot and that it still seemed to have a low swing weight so you could move it around quick. It handles the frozen bump section very well. On really firm snow, it held an edge really well and felt very stable.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

Great frontside ski that will be versatile enough to play in the trees when there’s pow. Wouldn’t take it out on a deep day though and probably would be ok on very hard pack day.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

Intermediate to expert. I think it can hold up well to an expert skier trying to find the limits. It will have limits though for the best skiers. Good for intermediates wanting a ski that can handle the progression into the expert category.

If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?

I would like a bit more pop to the ski. It’s extremely predictable, but if you’re trying to progress and get better, the lack of pop doesn’t make it the ideal ski to take you to the upper expert level. Other than that, really predictable and can definitely make it do most everything you want.

Amazing. Like they were an extension of me.

Anywhere you want. You can lock the edge in to and carve pretty turns with it's stability. Soft core is springy enough to hit soft bumps and it's light weight enough to go off adventuring up hill or far out.

Advanced or intermediate would both have fun as it's a forgiving ski that can bring the power.
