2026 Volkl Mantra 102 Women's Skiswith Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings

The 2026 Volkl Mantra 102 W with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is a precision-tuned powerhouse for aggressive female skiers who want confidence, control, and float—all in one serious all-mountain ski. Designed to tackle deep snow and firm groomers with equal composure, this ski brings Volkl’s Tailored construction tech into a platform that’s ready for any adventure. We paired the Mantra 102 Women's with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

It’s not just wide and floaty—it’s wide and responsive. The Mantra 102 W doesn’t merely survive powder days, it owns them, while still railing on edge when you get back to the groomers.

Who it's for:

Best for advanced to expert women who want a strong, directional ski with both soft snow capabilities and the muscle to carve on firmer terrain. An ideal pick for Western skiers seeking a daily driver, or East Coasters looking for a dedicated deep-day charger.

Highlights:

The Mantra 102 W combines Volkl’s Multilayer Wood Core of poplar and beech with a length-specific Tailored Titanal Frame—delivering tuned stiffness and control based on skier size. More titanal in longer lengths, and less in shorter, ensures appropriate power and responsiveness for every user. Tailored Carbon Tips enhance quickness and precision in the shovel, while the ski’s all-mountain shape with moderate rocker provides a blend of float, edge hold, and agility. Whether you're carving, slashing, or pointing it through crud, this ski stays composed and in command. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

This is not a soft-flexing or surfy ski—it’s built for directional skiers who want a serious tool for serious terrain. Freeride-focused or park-influenced skiers may find it a bit too locked-in and traditional for their style.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These skis run true to size. Stick with your standard length for maximum float and edge grip, or size down if you’re looking for quicker handling in tighter terrain.
