2027 Armada Antimatter 114 Skis
SKU RA0000876The 2027 Armada AntiMatter 114 is the wide-bodied freeride powder ski in the new AntiMatter Series, designed in collaboration with Max Palm. It blends Speedmetal Titanal construction with a progressive, surfy shape for skiers who want big-mountain charging power without giving up creative, slashable character.
Why we like it:
The AntiMatter 114 has a stompy, planted feel underfoot that you usually only get on heavier, more directional skis, but the rocker profile and shape keep it loose and surfy in soft snow. That mix of stability and looseness is the whole point of this ski, and it comes through clearly the moment you're on it.
Who it's for:
Advanced and expert skiers who ski powder, big-mountain terrain, and freeride lines. Ideal for skiers who want a stout, fast freeride powder ski that can still slash, smear, and get sideways instead of just plowing through everything in front of it.
Highlights:
The Speedmetal Titanal layup is the whole story of the AntiMatter Series. Where the ARV family is poplar-popped freestyle, AntiMatter is built like a real freeride tool, with strategically shaped Titanal laminate that adds high-speed damping and stability without making the ski feel dead or muted. The Poplar core keeps the ride lively and engaging, and the Freeride Rocker profile pairs serious tip and tail rocker for soft-snow surf with positive camber underfoot for stability. The All Mountain Edge is heat-treated and sized for a balance of durability and feel, and the S7 sintered base handles glide. AR100 sidewalls finish off a freeride-grade build that's heavier and more committed than anything in the ARV line, in the best possible way.
Things to consider:
This is a real freeride powder ski. It's not built to live on hardpack or carve shorter-radius turns, and the progressive shape paired with a stout build means it really wants to be skied fast in big terrain.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Skis a touch shorter than stated length thanks to the rocker profile. Most skiers can size up if they want extra flotation in deeper snow.
