2027 Atomic Bent Junior Skiswith SpeedMachine J Boots and Poles

Creative skiing starts young, and the Atomic Bent Junior brings the Bent family's freestyle-influenced personality into a junior package. A softer flex and lighter construction tuned to smaller bodies make the ski easy to steer and forgiving on landings that don't go quite to plan. L6 GW bindings adjust with boot size. Kids who see side hits and natural features everywhere get a ski that plays along. We paired the Bent with the Nordica Speed Machine Jr Boy’s ski boot because it provides young skiers with a solid blend of comfort, support, ad performance which with these skis will propel the development of their skills. Tailored for junior skiers who are progressing quickly, the Speed Machine Jr offers a secure fit with reliable performance no matter the terrain or snow conditions.

Who it's for:

Kids who see side hits everywhere and want a ski that plays along. It suits beginner to intermediate young skiers with a creative streak rather than those focused on carving.

Things to consider:

The soft flex is forgiving but caps the ski's speed, and a heavier young skier will find it bends further than they want on a firm landing. It isn't a true twin either, so switch skiing is workable rather than seamless.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Freestyle-leaning skis reward a length the child can rotate, so staying at or slightly under the skier's height keeps spins and butters accessible. Adding length for growth works against the playfulness that makes this ski worth buying.
