2027 Blizzard Rustler Team Jr Skiswith Atomic Colt 7 Bindings

The 2026 Blizzard Rustler Team Jr with Atomic Colt 7 Bindings is the youth take on Blizzard's freeride Rustler line, a wider, freeride-leaning ski for groms ready to move on from groomer-only junior skis. Built with a full woodcore, it brings authentic freeride character to a junior platform.

Why we like it:

Most junior freeride skis dilute the personality of their adult siblings, but the Rustler Team Jr keeps that freeride DNA front and center. A wider waist and full woodcore give it a genuine all-mountain feel that readies kids for the adult Rustler down the line.

Who it's for:

Junior freeride skiers and aggressive young rippers. It is best for groms who already ski the whole mountain with confidence, kids in deeper-snow regions wanting a wider junior ski, and skiers ready to take on softer snow and bigger terrain.

Highlights:

At the center is a full woodcore, a clear step up from the composite cores common in standard junior skis, lending a more refined feel underfoot with better edge connection and steadier flex. Blizzard's Dynamic Release Technology shapes how the ski flexes and releases each turn smoothly under lighter junior loads. The freeride-derived shape sets a rockered tip and tail over camber underfoot around a 90 mm waist, handing kids real soft-snow capability and freestyle-friendly versatility. It is a junior ski engineered to grow advancing young skiers toward adult-equivalent terrain.

Things to consider:

The wider waist and freeride personality make this a poor match for kids who ski mostly groomers. Smaller or less-experienced young skiers are also better served by an easier, narrower ski such as the Pearl Jr or Anomaly Jr.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Fit it to the child's height and ability, moving up a size for kids who charge bigger terrain.
