The CAPiTA Aeronaut is a directional all-mountain board designed with freestyle pro Arthur Longo to attack the resort and its side hits. Its traditional camber, progressive sidecut, and setback stance give it the drive and pop to charge groomers and launch off natural features.

Why we like it:

It feels powerful and precise underfoot, rewarding a rider who likes to move fast and pop off everything in sight, yet it still floats and turns with an easygoing directional flow.

Who it's for:

It is best suited to advanced and expert riders who spend their days charging the resort, hunting side hits, and dipping into the sidecountry.

Highlights:

The Aeronaut is built around CAPiTA's Panda Hover Core, which combines bamboo, paulownia, and poplar with three 25mm CarbonFlax Amplifiers running underfoot to deliver explosive pop and a damp, stable feel when you load the board into a hit. Its Alpine V3 traditional camber uses a low-rise camber profile that zeros out before the end of the sidecut, which keeps the ride powerful and responsive through a turn while adding a touch of forgiveness and control at the contact points. The directional shape, setback stance, and progressive sidecut work together to drive hard through the front of a carve and provide float and stability at speed, and the tough, fast HyperDrive ADV XT sintered base holds its speed across variable resort snow.

Things to consider:

With its stiffer flex, setback stance, and directional, camber-dominant shape, the Aeronaut is built for charging rather than jibbing, so beginners and riders who want a soft, playful twin should look elsewhere.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Aeronaut is a directional, camber-heavy board that likes to be ridden with some speed, so riders can generally stick with their usual length. Those who want maximum stability for fast, aggressive riding and bigger side hits can size up comfortably thanks to the setback stance and taper, while riders who prioritize quicker, tighter turns can stay at the shorter end of their range. Wide sizes are offered for riders with larger boots.
