The CAPiTA D.O.A. is an award-winning true twin that has become one of the most recognized snowboards ever made. Its Blended Radial sidecut and Resort V1 hybrid camber deliver a balanced, do-anything ride across the entire mountain.

Why we like it:

It strikes a rare balance between playful and precise, feeling forgiving enough for everyday cruising yet responsive enough to reward a rider who wants to push their turns and airs.

Who it's for:

It is a great match for intermediate to advanced riders who want one versatile deck for groomers, side hits, switch riding, and park laps.

Highlights:

The D.O.A. is built around CAPiTA's P2 Superlight Core, a blend of paulownia and poplar that keeps swing weight low so the board feels quick and poppy underfoot. Its Resort V1 hybrid camber runs camber between the feet with FlatKick tips at the nose and tail, which gives you the snap and edge hold of a cambered board while keeping turn initiation smooth and catch-free for easy, confident riding. Because it is a true twin with a centered stance and a Blended Radial sidecut, it rides and lands switch just as naturally as it rides forward, and the HolySheet fiberglass is woven directly into the topsheet to boost pop and durability without adding weight.

Things to consider:

The medium flex and extruded base are tuned for all-around versatility and easy upkeep, so riders chasing the outright dampening and top-end speed of a stiffer freeride board may find it softer than they want.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The D.O.A. is a forgiving, true-twin shape that rides close to true, so most riders can pick their normal length. Those who favor a surfier, more stable feel underfoot or who like to open up bigger turns can size up slightly, while riders focused on jibbing, presses, and tight park laps often prefer to size down a touch for a more maneuverable board.
