2027 Dynastar Menace 90 Junior Skiswith Dalbello Boots and Poles

The Dynastar Menace 90 uses its generous 90 mm waist to add true soft-snow credibility to a junior freestyle ski. A twin-tip shape and freestyle-tuned geometry let it slash powder, slide a box, and land switch with the same composure, and the light build keeps it easy to spin. Xpress 10 bindings come installed. Kids who refuse to choose between park and powder get a playground ski that handles both. We paired the Menace 90 with the Cabrio 90 MV boot because they're a progression friendly boot that offers a great blend of comfort and performance. Dalbello's unique three-piece design allows the boot to flex off the tongue, giving a smooth and intuitive feel that offers a boost of confidence to skiers still fine tuning their skills.

Who it's for:

Young freestyle skiers who ski powder as readily as park. It suits intermediate and better juniors who ride switch, hit features, and want a ski that comes along when the snow is deep.

Things to consider:

The width that helps in soft snow costs quickness on firm groomers, where a narrower junior ski changes edges faster. A kid focused purely on rails and jumps would find something slimmer easier to control.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Twin tips ski shorter than they measure, and freestyle use rewards a length the skier can rotate, so staying at or just under the skier's height is usually right. Add length only if soft snow is genuinely the priority over park performance. This is a medium-volume boot at heart, with the last measuring 101mm. Standard mondopoint sizing applies, so pick your usual shell size rather than adjusting for the width.
