2027 K2 Mindbender 85 W Women's Skiswith Dalbello Boots and Poles

The K2 Mindbender 85 W is the friendliest way into K2's freeride-minded Mindbender family, a women's all-mountain ski for skiers ready to venture past the groomers. A lightweight core, a women's-specific flex pattern, and an all-terrain rocker shape make turn initiation feel intuitive even when the snow turns choppy. It adds up to a ski that makes mixed terrain feel far less intimidating than it looks from the chairlift. The Mindbender 85 W is complimented nicely by the friendly and forgiving Cabrio MV 75. We chose this boot so that beginner skiers could have a comfortable, warm ski boot that's easy to ski in, easy to walk in, and easy to get on and off. With a relatively soft flex and a cozy liner, this boot has everything you want for a long day of progressing day on the hill.

Who it's for:

Women ready to venture past the groomers who want an all-mountain ski that doesn't intimidate. It suits intermediates building confidence in variable snow and softer conditions.

Things to consider:

Friendly tuning means a strong, aggressive skier will find the flex gives way under hard input. It sits at the accessible end of the family, so skiers ready to charge should look further up the range.

Fit & sizing considerations:

This ski suits a length around the skier's height, which gives enough stability for variable snow without becoming unwieldy. Women who ski mostly groomers can size down for quicker turns, while soft-snow days favor the longer option. Last width sits at 101mm, which lands in medium-volume territory, and the hinged tongue adds instep room for ease of entry and those with high arches. Mondopoint sizing is standard, so buy your normal shell size.
