2027 K2 Mindbender 90 Women's Skiswith Atomic Atomic Strive 12 GW Bindings

The 2027 K2 Mindbender 90 W with Atomic Atomic Strive 12 GW Bindings is a lighter, friendlier women's ski, carried forward with a fresh graphic and updated name over a proven build. Spectral Braid and an Aspen Microblock core do the heavy lifting, creating an easygoing platform that is reliable and flat-out fun for skiers who want a friendly, versatile, and intuitive ski.

Why we like it:

Spectral Braid lets K2 tune torsion and flex independently throughout the length of the ski, giving the ski stability without a weight penalty.

Who it's for:

Intermediate to advanced women skiers who want a ski that progresses with them. Lighter skiers and anyone who finds metal skis fatiguing will appreciate the easier feel.

Highlights:

The Aspen Microblock core is the story here. Instead of a few wide stringers, it packs in many small aspen blocks, essentially a mosaic layout, which delivers a notably even and smooth flex. Spectral Braid uses a variable-angle fiber weave wrapped around the wood core to tune torsional stiffness without the weight of metal. Stance Forward construction adapts the shape and flex to women's biomechanics, a 90 mm waist makes a versatile resort width, and a relatively short turn radius keeps the ski quick.

Things to consider:

High-speed charging in chunky snow is not its wheelhouse. Without metal damping, it can chatter when things get rough, so skiers who want a more authoritative ride should look at the 88 W or 96 W.

Fit & sizing considerations:

True to size, so if you're on the lighter side or prefer an easier ride, sizing down a notch is a safe move.
