2027 Kastle Sublime 93 Skis
SKU ASUB9326Soft-snow capability is the headline for the Kastle Sublime 93, a freeride-leaning all-mountain ski with the kind of construction that doesn't get pushed around in chop. A poplar and beech wood core, double titanal, and a longer All-Mountain Rocker profile come together for a ski that floats when it needs to and holds an edge when conditions firm up.
Why we like it:
The Sublime 93 hits a balance between edge grip and float that's hard to find. Most skis in this width range either give up the metal layup or give up the soft-snow shape. The Sublime 93 keeps both, which is rare in this category.
Who it's for:
Advanced through expert skiers who want a wider all-mountain ski for storm days and chopped-up afternoons but don't want to give up performance on groomers. Skiers in deeper-snow regions will get more out of this width than those on packed-powder hills.
Highlights:
The Sublime 93 inherits the same Twin Core, Double Titanal, Powerzone Sidewall, and Hollowtech 2.0 construction as the rest of the Sublime line. What changes is the dimensions and how the construction translates with more surface area. At 93mm underfoot with a 131-132mm tip, this is a real freeride-capable ski shape, and the All-Mountain Rocker in the tip runs longer than on the narrower Sublimes. The Milled Tip and Fast Grip Shovel work with the Hook Free Tail to keep turn engagement smooth and predictable, even when you're cutting through variable snow. With an 18.2-meter radius at the 182, this is a longer-arc ski than the narrower Sublime models, which fits the wider waist and rockered tip. The Twin Core's alternating poplar and beech sections give the ski a varied flex feel that handles both deep snow and firm bases without changing personality. And at 2020 grams in the 182, it's substantial enough to mute chatter but not so heavy it kills mobility. It's a smartly tuned wide all-mountain ski.
Things to consider:
The 93mm waist isn't ideal if you mostly ski groomers; the narrower Sublimes or the MX line will reward you more in that case. The progressive shape and longer rocker also mean less effective edge contact, so this ski isn't going to feel as locked-in at high edge angles as the cambered MX skis.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Sizes long thanks to the rockered tip and tail. The effective edge is shorter than the overall length, so most skiers will be happy on their usual size, or even one length up if they want more float in soft snow.
