DESCRIPTION

Pure carving DNA gets a 71 mm waist and a long-radius sidecut in the Rossignol Hero LT Ti. This is the GS-leaning ski in Rossignol's race-bred Hero family, made for advanced and expert skiers who want to lay over big arcs at speed and feel every bit of the World Cup heritage that lives in the build. A beech wood core, full sheet of titanal, and tip rocker give it the kind of edge grip and stability that separates a real race ski from a sport carver, while the new bio-sourced resin keeps the construction current.

Why we like it:

Line Control Technology is what gives this ski its locked-in feel. The central power rail running tip-to-tail eliminates counter-flex when you're loading the ski in a turn, which is why the LT Ti tracks like it's on rails when you commit to an arc.

Who it's for:

Advanced and expert skiers who spend most of their day on groomers and want a ski that rewards aggressive, technique-driven skiing. Best suited to skiers with race or strong carving backgrounds who want long-radius arcs and a ski that demands precision.

Highlights:

The Hero LT Ti is built on the same race-proven recipe Rossignol uses across the Hero line, just with the longer radius that defines the LT in the family. A PEFC beech wood core supplies the dampness and stability you want at race speeds, with a full titanal layer adding the energy and edge grip that this ski is known for. The shape uses Rossignol's Predictive Sidecut and a Power Tip to make turn entry quick and definite, while the rectangular full sidewall construction gives clean, full-length edge contact through the carve. Tip rocker keeps initiation manageable without giving up the snap of traditional camber underfoot. The whole package mounts on the SPX 14 Konect GW binding, which uses Look's Full Action toe and the longest elastic travel on the market for the kind of shock absorption that keeps you locked in when conditions get rough. A premium hardtop topsheet rounds out a build that's clearly aimed at skiers who care about feel and finish.

Things to consider:

This is a one-trick pony in the best sense. The narrow waist and long-radius shape mean it's at its best on firm snow and groomers; soft snow and off-trail terrain are not what it's built for. Skiers who want a shorter-radius slalom feel should look at the Hero MT or ST instead.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Sizes are race-tuned. Stick with what you usually ride for a frontside or carving ski; skiers who like their carving on the longer side can bump up a length, while quicker turns come at a shorter length.
