2027 Rossignol Resurgence Snowboard
SKU REPX501The Rossignol Resurgence parks itself in the all-mountain-freestyle slot, with a directional shape, balanced flex, and Basalt/Kevlar fiber reinforcement through the core. It returns unchanged for 2027 other than the fresh graphic, and is a confidence-builder for the mid-to-advanced rider who wants a board that handles hard landings without demanding the technical inputs of a pure freeride board. The construction story is meaningful, the riding feel is approachable.
Why we like it:
The Basalt and Kevlar reinforcement through the Wood CBF core adds real stability without making the board feel like a tank, and AmpTek All-Mountain at 50% camber sits in the sweet spot for riders who want pop without sacrificing forgiveness.
Who it's for:
Confirmed all-mountain riders who want a go-anywhere deck that will support hard landings, hold edge at higher speeds, and support progression into more aggressive terrain. The balanced flex and forgiving rocker pockets keep the Resurgence accessible to riders working through advanced-intermediate territory.
Highlights:
Construction is the headline. The Wood CBF core wraps a single-wood spine with Basalt and Kevlar (aramid) fibers, the Basalt adds power and stability while removing vibration, and the Kevlar dampens harsh landings. Profile is AmpTek All-Mountain, 50/50 rocker-to-camber, the same versatile blend Rossignol uses on the One. RadCut sidecut runs the engaged edge through three different turn shapes depending on edge angle and speed (the 156 comp length sits in the middle of the run), and Serrated Edges 5S add five smaller edge-contact points around the inserts for confident bite on firm conditions. The base is a Sintered 4400, a step down from the 7500 base on the One but still a real sintered base. Shape is directional with 1.8cm setback at the inserts on the 156, and a Directional All-Mountain flex pattern. The Resurgence Wide variants (155W/159W/163W) bump waist up to about 25.9-26.1cm for size 11+ boots.
Things to consider:
The 5/10 flex is a meaningful step softer than the One above it or the Mantra-level boards in other brands' lines, hard-charging advanced riders will outgrow it. The Resurgence doesn't have the L.I.T.E. Frame perimeter urethane that gives the One its particular damp feel, so chatter at high speed on hardpack is more present. For more pop and stability at speed, the One is the step up.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Sizes true to length, the Resurgence runs 153/156/159 regular with 155W/159W/163W in the wide variant for boot sizes 11 US and up. Bump up a length for heavier riders or those who'll see more powder, drop a length for more responsive turn initiation in trees and tight terrain.
