2027 Salomon District Pro Snowboard Bindings
SKU L49289600From the first park lap to the last all-mountain run, the Salomon District Pro is the team-driven binding for riders who want freestyle feel without giving up the support to push it. This is a collaboration with the Dustbox crew, built on Salomon's Shadow Fit platform, with a more supportive heelcup, upgraded suspension, and more responsive straps than the standard District. Flex sits on the firmer side of medium, the asymmetrical shape keeps the connection to the board direct, and the whole package rides like something built by riders who actually live in their bindings.
Why we like it:
The Shadow Fit baseplate gives the District Pro a noticeably more natural board feel than a traditional disc setup. The upgraded suspension and beefier heelcup add the support you want when the day moves from the park into bigger features.
Who it's for:
This is for the rider who lives in the park but also wants to drop into the rest of the mountain without swapping setups. Advanced and expert freestyle riders who load up takeoffs, stomp landings hard, and want responsiveness without the rigidity of a true all-mountain binding will get along with it. A solid choice for progressing intermediates who want one binding to carry them through the next few seasons.
Highlights:
The Shadow Fit baseplate is the headline here: it's a flexible heel cup paired with a Kevlar wire that runs the energy directly to the board, and it gives this binding a much more connected feel than a disc-mounted setup. The chassis itself is a 45 percent fiberglass nylon composite, and it carries Salomon's full hardware suite: a toolless toe ramp, the IMS-cushioned Universal Disc, and a Power Hook for Burton Channel boards. The District highback uses a 12 degree pre-rotated shape that lines you up over the heel edge without having to reset it every session. Strap-wise, you get a Shadow Lite Ankle Strap with the Dustbox-tuned tweaks plus an Ultra-Fit Toe Strap, both running on MicroMax strap adjustments and toolfree adjustability across the board. Padding is canted footbed with a Full EVA Rear Pad and Full EVA Front Pad, and ratchets are MP Ratchets with aluminum buckle levers.
Things to consider:
The District Pro sits firmer and more supportive than the standard District, so riders looking for a true noodle for jib-only days may want to drop to the District proper. The Hologram is the move if you want all-mountain freestyle in a slightly softer, more forgiving package.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Small fits US Men 4 through 7 and US Women 4 through 8. Medium covers US Men 7.5 through 10 and US Women 8.5 through 11.5. Large covers US Men 10.5 and up. The binding mounts on Universal Disc with Unite Disc compatibility, so it works on Burton Channel boards via the Power Hook in addition to standard 2x4 and 4x4 patterns.
