2027 Salomon Wonder Snowboard
SKU L49292800Salomon's Rock Out Camber is one of the more thoughtful hybrid profiles in the women's snowboard space, and the Salomon Wonder is one of the boards that shows what it can really do. It's an all-terrain freestyle directional twin with a medium flex, a Quadralizer sidecut, and rubber sidewalls that take the sting out of choppy or refrozen snow. The Wonder is built for women who want freestyle versatility without giving up the ability to ride the rest of the mountain confidently, paired with a Sintered base for everyday performance.
Why we like it:
Ghost Basalt Stringers through the Popster core add a damp, controlled feel that's especially noticeable in variable snow. The rubber sidewalls also do real work, keeping unwanted vibration from creeping up through the binding.
Who it's for:
Intermediate to advanced women who like to mix park laps with all-mountain exploration are squarely in the Wonder's wheelhouse. The medium flex makes it forgiving enough for riders still refining their freestyle bag while giving experienced riders enough backbone to push pace on groomers. Riders who want one board for park, trees, and groomers will find it covers a lot of ground.
Highlights:
The shape is a Directional Twin, which keeps stance symmetry while subtly tuning the nose and tail for the way most riders actually use the board. Rock Out Camber gives the Wonder its trademark blend of edge response and forgiveness, with camber underfoot for grip and lifted contact points that release smoothly out of turns. An Aspen and Popster core paired with Ghost Basalt Stringers, BIAX MD Fiberglass, and 30% bio-based resin keeps the build light and lively. A Standard Stone Finish on the Sintered base helps with everyday glide, and Royal Rubber Pads in the sidewalls calm the ride down in mixed conditions. The Quadralizer sidecut delivers variable turn shapes along the edge.
Things to consider:
The Wonder is more all-mountain than pure park, so dedicated freestyle riders who live in the park may want something softer with a true twin shape. There isn't a wide variant in this size run, so larger-footed riders should size carefully and check toe and heel overhang before committing.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Stick with what you usually ride. Go up a size for stability and bigger turns when conditions get fast, or drop a size for a quicker, more park-friendly feel underfoot. The size run is regular-width only, capping at 155 cm.
