DESCRIPTION

Wider women's feet rarely find a true performance fit, but the Tecnica Mach BOA HV 95 W is built specifically for them. A 103mm high-volume last, a polyurethane shell with Mechanic Cuff Adapt construction, a BOA dial on the lower shell, and a 95 flex come together in a boot that wraps wider feet evenly across the forefoot. Advancing women skiers with high-volume feet finally get a real platform that doesn't ask them to size down or suffer through pressure points.

Why we like it:

The BOA-equipped lower paired with the high-volume last is the rare combination that actually solves the wide-foot women's problem. Two buckles on a wide foot have a way of producing pinch points; the BOA cable wraps evenly and lets the high-volume last do its job.

Who it's for:

Advancing intermediate and advanced women with wide or high-volume feet who've been frustrated by women's boots that feel like they were built around a narrower template. Skiers ready to step out of softer all-mountain boots and into something with more response.

Highlights:

The high-volume version of the women's Mach BOA line is built on a 103mm last with a PU Quick Instep shell. The cuff is bi-injected PP with backspine and Mechanic Cuff Adapt, a women's-specific cuff feature that adjusts the shape to better match women's lower-leg anatomy. Closure pairs two micro-adjustable aluminum cuff buckles with the BOA Fit System on the shell, distributing pressure evenly across the instep instead of concentrating it at buckle pivots. The Ecodesign Sport N.F.S. Adaptive liner with Celliant thermal-reflective material is heat-moldable and oriented toward comfort. A 35mm Velcro strap completes the closure system, and GripWalk soles handle off-snow walking. C.A.S. shell and liner construction allows extensive heat molding, punching, and grinding for fit fine-tuning.

Things to consider:

The 103mm last is genuinely high-volume, so medium- and low-volume feet should look at the MV or LV options in the Mach BOA W line instead. A 95 flex sits in the advancing-skier zone; truly expert women may want to step up to the Mach BOA HV 105 in the line. The BOA dial is also a different feel than buckles, and some skiers take a session or two to adjust to how it tightens.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Standard mondopoint sizing applies. The 103mm last is high-volume women's by design, with the BOA system giving some adjustable wrap range on the lower. C.A.S. shell and liner give significant customization potential. A bootfitter session helps take full advantage of the heat-mold options.
