Atomic Redster SL Helmet

Atomic's World Cup slalom racers wear the Atomic Redster SL Helmet, and it's built for slalom. This pro-level race helmet combines a hard race shell with an impact deflector system and a fit that molds to your head. A height-adjustable chin guard comes in the box, so it's ready for gate training.

Why we like it:

The memory-foam fit system molds to your head for an instant custom feel, so it disappears once you're racing.

Features and Functions:

Atomic's AMID multi-directional impact deflector combines with Holo Core and a PC Racecase shell, which Atomic says delivers protection up to 40% higher than normal industry standards. The 360° Fit System and Live Fit memory foam mold to your head shape. Aircon Venting runs air channels through each layer to keep you cool and dry, and the removable, washable full cap liner has integrated 3D-molded ear pads and 3M X-Static anti-odor lining. A magnetic Fidlock buckle opens one-handed, the adjustable chin guard has three height settings, and a helmet bag is included. It's certified to CE EN 1077:2007 Class B and ASTM F2040.

Bottom Line:

This is the slalom race helmet for competitive racers who want the same lid Atomic's World Cup athletes wear. Check the chin guard rules for your race series before race day.
