Rigid slalom poles hitting the lower leg is part of racing, and the Energiapura Adult Shinguards take that impact while helping you carry speed through the gate. Built in lightweight plastic with the same shape as the carbon guards Energiapura makes for World Cup racers, they strap on over your race suit or training pants. The payoff is a smoother, more aggressive line with less worry about bruised shins.

Why we like it:

Energiapura designed this shape for glide, not just protection. A smooth, contoured face lets the pole skim off rather than grab, which matters when you're taking a tight line.

Features and Functions:

The shape is lifted directly from Energiapura's CDM carbon shin guard, the model used on the World Cup circuit, molded here in a light, tough plastic built for daily gate training. Elastic straps with Velcro closures wrap the calf and adjust for fit over a race suit or softshell pants. It is certified as protective gear, and it comes in more than one adult length, so taller racers can get full coverage from boot cuff to knee.

Fit and Sizing:

Pick the length based on lower-leg measurement, and the adjustable straps give a snug hold over race layers.

Bottom Line:

A dependable everyday slalom shin guard for teen and adult racers who train and race gates all season.
