Subzero mornings and long lift rides are the job description for the Hot Chilly's Micro Elite XT Men's Tight. It's a heavyweight tight with a slick nylon face, a warm brushed-fleece interior and four-way stretch, keeping legs insulated without the bulk of a thicker layer.

Why we like it:

The smooth nylon face is the sleeper feature, letting ski pants slide on over it easily while adding durability where a fuzzy tight would wear.

Features and Functions:

Hot Chillys puts Micro Elite XT at the top of its warmth chart for base layers. That warmth comes from a brushed fleece interior backed by a smooth nylon exterior, in a heavyweight stretch knit. The fabric breathes and pulls sweat away from the skin, so it doesn't chill you once you stop moving on the lift. A covered elastic waistband keeps things comfortable, flatlock seams keep rubbing to a minimum, and strong UV protection comes built in.

Fit and Sizing:

Active fit that follows the leg closely, so it disappears under ski pants.

Bottom Line:

One of the warmest tights Hot Chillys makes, best for men who ski through the coldest stretches of winter.
