The box contains 5 x 180g bars of HS5, rated for -10°C to -18°C and valued for durability and good dry-friction properties. Swix lists it for alpine skis, snowboards, and cross-country skis, either alone on race day or as a hardening base under other race products. It wants a 160°C iron moved slowly down the ski, an optional reheat after a short cool-down, and a plexi scraper about a minute after the last pass. The formula is fluoro-free and fully biodegradable.
