Swix PS6 Blue -6°C/-12°C, 900g

Cold days add up over a season, and the Swix PS6 Blue Glide Wax 900g gives a club or shop enough cold wax to cover them. This five-bar box is a versatile glide wax for touring, training days, and prepping bases on Nordic and alpine skis. It keeps a lot of skis gliding well on natural and man-made snow without dipping into race-wax budgets.

Why we like it:

One box covers prep, training, and touring on cold days, which makes it a smart default wax for a busy club wax room.

Features and Functions:

The 900g box contains 5 x 180g bars of PS6, recommended from -6°C to -12°C. Swix positions it as a racing wax on its own, a base under final layers, or base prep before cold days, with good durability and glide on natural and artificial snow. Give each ski an unhurried pass with the iron, reheat once it cools for better durability, and use a quality iron, which Swix stresses for melting the wax properly.

Bottom Line:

This is the bulk cold wax for Nordic clubs, alpine programs, and shops that wax for training and touring. It's an economical way to keep skis prepped through the cold months.
