DESCRIPTION

The 2025 Arbor AR Westmark with Arbor Spruce Bindings is a high-performance, park-oriented setup designed to excel in the park and deliver an enjoyable ride off-trail. With a softer flex and a playful shape, it offers a catch-free experience and effortless maneuverability. Ideal for riders who want to have fun without working too hard, this board is equally adept at park features and exploring the mountain. We paired the AR Westmark with the Spruce bindings because these well-rounded all-mountain bindings perform well in most conditions or terrain. A moderate flex makes them stiff enough to charge on groomers but not too demanding that you can’t take them in the park. Built with durable material to last season after season making them a great choice to pair with the AR Westmark.

Why we like it:

The twin shape and Flip Tips of the AR Westmark make it perfect for park riding, enabling easy nose and tail presses. Its full rocker profile ensures a smooth ride through trees and moguls, while Grip Tech contact points enhance grip to compensate for the lack of camber. This board also performs well in deep snow, adding to its versatility.

Who it's for:

The AR Westmark is primarily aimed at intermediate to advanced riders but is also suitable for beginners looking to progress. It’s not ideal for carving on icy east coast groomers due to its full rocker, but it excels in various other conditions, making it a fun choice for those who enjoy a playful ride.

Highlights:

The gradually rockered tip and tail facilitate easy nose and tail presses, while the Grip Tech contact points provide extra grip in the absence of camber. The Highland II core, made from Poplar and Paulownia, ensures a lighter, more responsive ride without compromising stability. The twin shape allows for seamless riding switch or regular, and the full rocker profile contributes to a catch-free experience. The Asymmetrical High backs on the Spruce have 5-degres pre-rotation, providing great feel and ultimate freedom of movement. An Adjustable Extruded Aluminum heel cup not only gives you the adjustability to fit any boot in but also provides exceptional durability to hold up for years. Dual-Density EVA Footbeds eliminate chatter for a smooth and damp ride.

Things to consider:

The full rocker profile offers a surfier feel and increased maneuverability but may sacrifice some stability and edge hold at higher speeds on groomed trails. The centered reference point makes riding switch easier, but you might want to set the stance back for better performance in deep snow.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The full rocker profile causes the AR Westmark to ride slightly shorter than its size suggests, so consider sizing up for added stability and float.
