If you, like many skiers out there, are looking for that one ski that does it all, it's hard to beat the all-mountain Rossignol Experience 88 women's skis. They have the shape, build, profile, and personality to be nominated for that highly-coveted title of one ski quiver. We say it a lot, and it certainly can mean different things to different people, but we think that 88 range is ideal for one ski, regardless of conditions or terrain. Not long ago, 88 would have been considered mid-fat to fat. It's not like 88 mm got narrower over time, in fact, with the implementation of rocker and lighter tips and tails, the 88's have become better floaters over time. Because of this, and the reality that not every day is a powder day - and those days that it does snow, it happens to get tracked out pretty quickly at the resorts - calling something in the 105-range a one ski quiver doesn't quite hold water. Most of our time is spent on the trail, so it's important to get a ski that performs better in those scenarios. This is where the Experience 88 really comes in handy. It can get from one turn to the next, regardless of conditions or terrain, with ease, smoothness, and poise. For almost three years now, this generation of Experience 88's from Rossignol have more of a freeride flair without sacrificing the on-trail prowess. Unchanged except for graphics for 2021, the Experience 88 W will continue captivating its audience with endless versatility.

Kristi Brown skied the 173 and found it to be a good length. All 5's on the scorecard from Kristi, not only showing the versatility of the ski, but the high-end of it as well. "Wonder Woman takes flight!" She starts. "One ski quiver for all-mountain carving-I can do anything on this ski. The Experience 88 Ti is in her prime. 88 is the great waist width and Ti construction to enjoy an epic experience." Okay! Sounds like Kristi likes her 88's for that one ski quiver, and the Rossignol looks like it's at the top of a short list.

Lauren Lepage was a fan of the Experience 84, so it's no wonder that that favorability continues with the 88. She skied the 166 and found it to be the appropriate length for her. 4's for most categories with a 3 for forgiveness (it is a fairly stiff ski, after all). To balance that 3, she scored it a 4.5 for overall impression. These are consistent scores to mirror a consistent ski. She calls it "easy to maneuver and make quick turns. I think after skiing these, everyone should have this type of ski. I really liked its carving ability and how it handled. I think this ski could do more than I even realize!" She ends with a not-so-rhetorical question: "Why are we all skiing such fat skis??" Allison Ruschp skied the 166 and "highly recommends this ski to women who are looking for something that is very carve-able and fun! Quick and light for making lots of turns, but also has a long edge hold for larger arcs. Took them in the bumps and was very happy with the playfulness and response." Her scores, like the other ladies, were all 4's and 5's, with a 5 for overall impression.

It's pretty clear that Rossignol has an all-mountain winner here, and a strong contender for one ski quiver. At 88 underfoot and with a supremely versatile build, the Experience 88 W has a lot going for it, and there's a ton of skiers out there who could click and go no matter what the day or conditions hold.
