We here at SkiEssentials.com like to say that there's a perfect ski for everyone, and it's all about finding what's perfect for you. That has not, however, stopped the good people at Nordica from trying to make the perfect overall ski, and it sure seems like they're trying to do it with the Enforcer 94. This ski has a little something for everyone, just so long as you are an advanced or expert skier, and therein lies the issue with perfection. It takes a bit of time and skill to get up to the Enforcer level, as these skis have a full wood core and two sheets of metal. In addition, they also have a Carbon Chassis that stiffens the ski without adding much weight. At 94 mm underfoot, this ski and its 17.1-meter turn radius can really make any turn at any time, and at a high-performance level. In this light, the Enforcer 94 is an absolute unit of a weapon when on the feet of the right skier, capable and willing to rip carved turns on groomers as well as dancing through the bumps and trees and floating through the powder. It's quite impressive what this 94 can do, and we're loving every minute of it.

Brian Cooke skied the appropriately-sized 186 and loved the length, noting that it was just right for him. He gave the ski top marks of 5 out of 5 for overall impression, versatility, torsional stiffness, edge hold, and stability. Flotation got a lowly 3, while quickness, maneuverability, playfulness, and forgiveness all got 4's. Still a very high spread of scores, and a good sign that the Enforcer 94 is a well-rounded all-mountain machine. Brian notes that it's a "Great all around ski. Enough power and stability to handle the chop, but doesn't feel burdensome when you want to zip through the trees. I wouldn't count on it for a deep day but it's versatile enough for almost all other conditions." Bob St.Pierre also skied the 186 and noted it was true to size. He scored the ski 5's out of 5 for versatility, stability, and overall impression. Unlike Brian, Bob found that "the Enforcer 94 is deceptively floaty. While a bit on the heavy side, it's still got the right amount of rocker and taper to float through more fresh than some other mid-90's skis, with the added bonus of being able to carve like a much narrower ski. It's this blend of performance that makes the 94 stand out to me."

Jeffrey Siegel skied the 186, and notes that it is the right size for him. His top marks of 5 were given for torsional stiffness and edge hold, with 4's for overall impression and stability. The 3's have the rest of the card. Jeffrey notes that "So I have the previous version of this ski, the 93. It’s great, but they made it better in the 94. The new shape makes it turnier and quicker. It also feels a bit snappier to me. It still rails long turns, but it does a much better job with shorter turns now. Still makes me work a little harder than I’d like to in tight woods, but for a skier that like to get their skis over and drive them, it’s as good as it gets." On the 179, Brad Schauerman scored it all 4's, which is a testament and hallmark to a high-performance versatile ski like the 94. He notes that it "Skis like a charm awesome for all conditions and all terrain. This ski does it all. Lay it over on a GS course or smash some bumps and ski the trees. Awesome all over the mountain." From hard pack groomers to softer snow in the bumps and trees, the 94 really does do it all.

In the quest for perfection, we could stop at the Nordica Enforcer 94 and say, "yup, this is it, this is all you need." And we wouldn't be wrong, necessarily. That would, however, discount a lot of really great skis out there in the industry that do a whole lot of good things as well, and for most skiers, this is going to be a pretty darn demanding ski with a hefty weight and a stiff flex. If you can get over that, and do enjoy the Enforcer pedigree, then the 94 will give you a whole lot to like.
