Designed and inspired by the man himself, Arbor’s Satori Camber Snowboard is an ode to Bryan Iguchi. Emerging for the 2024 season with a tapered directional shape and an ultra-fat waist, the Satori remains a top contender for freeride snowboarder’s seeking power and control without compromise. The shorter stature that emerges from this directional shape matches with a full camber profile and an ultra-stiff flex to create the ultimate deep snow trifecta. Maneuverable from edge-to-edge, surfy from the front end, and unsurprisingly controlled in technical terrain, the Satori becomes the one to beat in a deep snow setting. Complete with a slight, swallow tail cut and a uniquely blunted nose, Arbor’s Satori is an unwavering powder piercer.

Though it falls somewhere in between the all-mountain and freeride categories, the Satori remains a rather niche deck. What this means is that only a very specific rider can milk the Satori for all that it’s worth. Due to the Satori’s rather wide waist, this rider falls on the bigger end of the spectrum and tends to live in a high snowfall area. With the breadth, length, and stature of a deep-snow-tree-turning snowboard, the Satori definitely seems to feel most at home on America’s west coast. That’s not to say the Satori isn’t capable of conquering the conditions we have here in Stowe, but the true potential of this deck is likely unveiled elsewhere.
