As far as snowboard technology goes, the Rossignol Myth Women’s Snowboard is definitely simple. This no-frills build is far from a bad thing, especially when it comes to progression. A flat base pairs with a rocker profile and an ultra-soft flex to create the perfect balance between precision, stability, and easy handling. Though the Myth does contain some fiberglass in its build, the torsional stiffness and overall flex remain inviting. A true twin shape opens the door to a bit of freestyle dabbling, but the Myth definitely feels most at home in an all-mountain setting. Loose and forgiving with a playful feel, Rossignol’s Myth makes an excellent accomplice for beginner snowboarders seeking pure progression and confidence without compromise.

Though it’s certainly more of a first board than it is a third or a fourth, the Myth remains a great option for a second. With that being said, both beginner and intermediate female snowboarders can find a lot to like within the Myth’s warm and friendly persona. It’s easy to control at speeds but it never wavers when driving an edge into firm terrain. There’s just so much to like here; as a progressing snowboarder, you can’t go wrong.
