For 2026, the Head Kore 88 Ti is a well-rounded all-mountain ski with some strong performance and light weight feel. Most skis in this range are generally regarded as pure all-mountain skis, and this one is no different. With a construction consisting of a strong wood core and two sheets of metal, this 88 is going to compete with some of the more established skis of the group while carving its own path as being a lighter option with a shorter arc and increased access. Quick, agile, and very stable, these skis will provide an excellent option for intermediate through expert skiers who are looking for versatility and fun at no expense.

Built with a blend of light karuba and dense beech, these skis skirt the line between agile and strong. The two sheets of metal certainly bring the power and damping, but since they don’t extend fully to the tips or the tails, there’s still a wiggle factor here that allows for easy mobility. Head also uses a graphene strip to add pep and zest without adding weight—the whole point of Kore is to keep it light while also maintaining power. Tester Bob St.Pierre notes that “The new Kore 88 Ti is a very easy ski and totally approachable. It's lightning-quick and super mobile. Those aspects carry forward from the older Kore 87, but that's about it. There's no carbon in this ski, so it feels damper and less reactive. For a lot of skiers, this is going to be an improvement, but I'm sure there are others who will miss that carbon feel and precision. It feels a lot more traditional and mainstream now.” With a solid feel and a strong character, these skis have a great build for all-encompassing all-mountain skiing.

The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Head Kore 88 Ti

In terms of shape, this ski is totally useful. It’s very quick from edge to edge and has a shorter turn radius that allows for crisp carves and tight arcs. In the 177 cm length, the Kore 88 Ti uses a 128 mm tip and a 112 mm tail to create a 16-meter sidecut radius. Due to the somewhat flexible nature of the ski, it’s totally accessible for most skiers. Bob continues to state that “The 88 is a great on-trail ski that can also hold up in bumps and packed-out trees. This covers most all-mountain characteristics, although it didn't feel like it was happy in deeper snow, perhaps due to the lower rocker profile and more flexible shovel. On-piste, the metal makes the ski damp, smooth, and predictable. I'd want it to be stiffer, heavier, and more stable on groomers for increased carving performance.”

The new Kore 88 Ti is a very easy ski and totally approachable. It's lightning-quick and super mobile. This is going to be a great introductory ski with metal for a lot of intermediate and advanced skiers.

This ski will appeal to a broad audience. It’s got a well-rounded shape, build, and style that make it a great option for all-mountain skiers who are looking to split their time evenly between on and off-trail applications. While many skiers will find that the on-trail performance is a highlight, they should not discount the Kore’s ability to find fun and adventure when the skiing gets interesting and exciting.

Size Impression
This ski felt a bit short for a 177 with an 88 waist. Skis like the Mantra 88 in the 177 feel longer. I'd go with the 184 personally.
