2023 VOLKL DEACON 84: ON SNOW SKI REVIEW
The first time we talked about the Volkl Deacon 84 was way back in August of 2019. Remember 2019? Feels like a decade ago at this point. There have even been substantial shifts in how we function as a society since 2019. What hasn’t changed, however, like the constant in some weird social scientific experience, is the Volkl Deacon 84. It’s like a beacon of hope through years of uncertainty. Alright, maybe we’re taking this too far, but it’s true. The Deacon 84 hasn’t changed in all these years, aside from some cosmetic updates, but it hasn’t skipped a beat. While other brands have introduced some new competitors, the Deacon 84 remains a strong contender. Packed full of technology, a rewarding skiing experience, and some versatility to boot. We were psyched to get back on them for a morning of skiing at Stowe, going back and forth with who was skiing and who was filming, while having some casual Chairlift Chats about its performance and application.
