Talking Shop With Andi Mann: Marker Global Product Director

Last week, we chatted with Andreas (Andi) Mann, now the Global Brand Director for Marker Products. If the name sounds familiar, that’s because it should be! This is the third time we’ve chatted with Andi in a formal, recorded format. Previously, our conversations surrounded developments with Volkl, but since then, Andi has shifted his focus to Marker, which is where he started with the company many years ago.

As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our chat with Andi and came away from it with new knowledge and understanding of bindings, specifically the new Marker Griffon X 13 M-Werks and Jester X 16 M-Werks. The development and engineering behind these new bindings is very impressive and potentially marks a shift in alpine bindings going forward. We’ve never seen such low stand height, and we’ve already been able to experience it first-hand ourselves, which we shared in our review back in June.
