Race Ski Tuning Clinic with SkiEssentials & Graham Lonetto

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, we hosted a Race Ski Tuning Clinic for Mount Mansfield Academy here in Stowe, VT.This clinic was presented by Graham Lonetto, the General Manager of our Pinnacle Ski & Sports shop also in Stowe.Graham has an extensive background in ski tuning.He is a former US Ski Team World Cup Technician, the founder of Edgewise Elite Ski Service (a former shop in Stowe), and recently was the SWIX Alpine Director.His knowledge and experience shines through in this clinic, which is just over an hour long.

This was first a clinic for the athletes at Mount Mansfield Academy, but we took the opportunity to live stream the event on our YouTube channel, and now we’re posting it here for anyone who missed it.We’ll also be following this up with more ski tuning instruction that’s more geared towards the average skier.As mentioned, this clinic was focused on race ski tuning, and many of the steps and details Graham presents in this video are not exactly necessary for general resort skiing.If, on the other hand, you’re looking to learn more about the intricacies of race tuning with the goal of applying them to your own skis, you’re in the right place!
