Complete with a Scout and a Mercury machine, both under 7 years old, our modern, clean, and efficient tune shop exists to perfect and polish your bases and edges of your skis or snowboards. These machines can fine-tune your edges with tremendous detail and put in a fast base grind pattern to keep you gliding. With fancy new technologies in the wax rolling and infrared heating worlds, the wax penetrates your new pattern with ease, and you'll be amazed at the consistency of gliding in which your boards will provide. In addition to recreational tuning, we also use this shop to service local and high-end racers who need their skis to run optimally day in and day out. In a sport where thousandths of seconds matter, it's imperative to have the right tune.
With these two machines, SkiEssentials Stowe is in a unique position to have some of the most efficient tuning timelines available. The Mercury machine handles all the snowboards and the overflow of skis while the Scout is a ski-only machine that rips through both alpine and Nordic skis with ease.
