Clocking in at 83mm in the waist with a short turn radius and a full camber profile, it comes as no surprise that the Cloud Q12 favors the frontside. It’s smooth through bumps and technical terrain but strikingly stable at higher speeds, and it offers a solid amount of edge grip with quick response both into and out of a turn. Atomic’s Flite Wood Core offers a supple, lightweight, and intuitive foundation for performance that leaves the ski feeling agile and quick from start to finish. It’s titanal-powered, too, with a layer of metal implemented to absorb shock and enhance the torsional flex. Atomic’s Revoshock C technology works in tandem with this titanal laminate to create a highly absorptive ride that transitions quickly between its edges and maintains a vice-like grip while doing so. Speed, stability, and strength remain a top priority—one that is evident through the implementation of the Cloud Q12’s World Cup Base Finish. Though it can definitely hit some of the higher speeds, the Atomic Cloud Q12 Revoshock C Ski is more than capable of dialing it back for the afternoon.
