DESCRIPTION

Blending freestyle flair with precision carving, the 2027 Black Crows Mirus Cor return as one of the most innovative and distinctive skis on the market. Designed for skiers who crave something out of the ordinary, the Mirus Cor balances precision with playfulness, delivering dynamic edge angles and creative turn shapes. This is a purpose-built ski—crafted for a select audience seeking a one-of-a-kind experience.

Why we like it:

Its standout performance and bold design. In a world filled with conventional skis, the Mirus Cor breaks the mold. Its wild shape, combined with high-performance construction, makes for a ride that’s both exhilarating and joyful. Few skis make you laugh out loud while carving—this one does. The feeling it delivers in each turn is almost surreal, and that sensation is what makes it truly unforgettable.

Who it's for:

This ski is not for the masses. Ideal for advanced to expert skiers who already own a quiver and want to add a fun, carving-specific tool to their collection. If you’re looking to inject creativity and playfulness into your carving game, the Mirus Cor is made for you. Not recommended for beginners or intermediates, as the ski’s aggressive shape and demand for precision require solid technique.

Highlights:

Featuring a poplar wood core with fiberglass laminates and a titanal plate underfoot, its construction is intended to create energy and pop rather than stability and edge grip. With a somewhat soft flex pattern, the Mirus Cor prefers more moderate speeds on moderate pitches which inspires your creative side to come out. Generous tip and tail rocker further add to the playfulness without taking away from their carving prowess. To top it off, the swallowtail on the tail of the ski creates forgiveness at the end of the turn.

Things to consider:

The 2027 Mirus Cor is highly specialized. It’s not a great option for those seeking a one-ski quiver or for skiers who favor high-speed stability. It thrives in moderate-speed carving on groomers and prefers to be on edge rather than skied flat. Its aggressive sidecut means it practically demands you to carve every turn.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Mirus Cor skis true to size. However, since it is a carving-oriented ski with a short radius, it is common practice to size down slightly if you are between lengths.

Size Impression
just right. I usually ski skis in the mid to upper 170's and this one is no different. If anything size up, this ski is mounted onlyu -3.5cm from the center so there tends to not be that much tip infront of you

Thoughts
Groomers. It's got a short (13M) radius and a pretty central mounting point. It wants you to get the ski out from under you and make lots of turns. You don't have to drive the tip super hard, just stand on it and start making turns. Loves to be skied forwards and backwards.
Nothing. It's unique. It should stay that way.
Overal Impression
Like someone wrapped fun incarnate in orange and put metal edges on it. As long as its not rock hard ice this ski loves to make a lot of turns at medium speed but will allow you to cover some ground without forcing you into another turn.
