The 2026 Dynastar M-Free 112 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is a fresh addition to the M-Free lineup, aligning more closely with the family’s established build, shape, and style than its predecessor, the M-Free 116. Featuring the Hybrid 2.0 Core, this ski offers a significant boost in energy and performance. It excels in delivering a smooth, energetic ride and remains sturdy in soft snow as well as on the occasional groomer. We paired the M Free 112 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.
Why we like it:
This ski stands out in its category for its well-rounded design, making it one of the top choices for resort powder skiing. The generous tip and tail rocker, combined with substantial camber underfoot and a robust flex pattern, provides excellent flotation and maneuverability in soft snow while also handling groomers with authority.
Who it's for:
Advanced to expert skiers who are well-accomplished and can handle a sturdier, slightly heavier ski with a straighter sidecut will find this model particularly rewarding.
Highlights:
The Dynastar M-Free 112 features the Hybrid 2.0 Core, which reduces the use of adhesives to cut down on weight while maintaining a strong flex pattern. This core is also more sustainably constructed, minimizing environmental impact. The addition of polyurethane to the core’s sides without heavy adhesives enhances vibration dampening and provides a smooth ride. The Attack 14 GW’s FR PRO3 Toe contains 30 mm of elastic travel which provides a smooth and confidence inspiring feel when tracking though variable snow while also recentering the boot to its neutral position extremely well to keep you locked in, acting almost like a suspension system. NX FR Heel pieces have 16 mm of elastic travel which assists in prevent false-releases. These heel pieces also make stepping into and out of bindings with ease, even in deep snow.
Things to consider:
Advancing intermediates may struggle with the ski’s heavier weight and longer turning radius. Weighing in at 2200 g for the 183 cm length and 2300 g for the 189 cm, this ski is better suited for physically strong skiers. That said, it feels nimble underfoot and is remarkably playful.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The skis run true to size. Opt for a shorter length if you prioritize playfulness and maneuverability, or choose a longer length if you value stability and power.
