DESCRIPTION

The 2026 Rossignol Sender Soul 102 takes inspiration from the Sender Free 110 and reworked into a more all-round versatile ski for all-mountain freeride skiing. The 102 is light enough for some hybrid backcountry while also being an incredible carver for resort ripping. Likely being the most versatile of all the Sender skis, the 102 blends freeride and all-mountain to the nth degree for a broad range of skiers who need a ski that can do it all.

Why we like it:

The balance between characteristics and attributes is the main story here as there are so many applications that the Sender Soul 102 can fill. Whether it be a hybrid backcountry charger, resort freeride, or crud busting the 102 is a fantastic option to do it all at a highlevel.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert skiers who seek a ski that they can depend on no matter what the terrain or snow conditions are on a given day.

Highlights:

LCT (Line Control Technology) wood PEFC core provides stability and a composed feel even at the highest of speeds and on big impacts. Titanal Beam running the length of the ski boosts longitudinal and torsional stiffness, while also damping vibrations. Rectangular Sidewalls running the full length of the ski adds edge grip and longitudinal stiffness which heavily contributes to on-trail carving performance. Air Tip technology takes weight out of the tips while also damping vibrations to result in a low swing weight and added agility when in technical terrain. VAS (Vibration Absorbtion System) further boosts vibration damping for a smooth and composed feel at all times throughout the day.

Things to consider:

The Sender Soul 102 is extremely damp and has a planted feel, so if you prefer a ski with loads of reactiveness and rebound, there are more energetic options out there.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to size.

Did this length feel short, long, or just right? Would you recommend sizing up or down, or does it ski "true to size?" Would you choose this length for yourself?
Ski felt great. True to size for me

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?
I really liked this ski right away. I wanted to do a lot more laps in as much variety as possible. I was surprised how confident I felt in a fast steep turn in looser snow.
For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?
This feels like it could be a “one ski to rule them all” for those who can really only have a one ski quiver. That’s to say it was playful, wide enough for powder, turned well and was very stable. I’d have to test on firmer/icy terrain, but generally speaking feels like an east coast ski.
What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?
Intermediate or advanced. The harder you push on the ski the more it seemed to dig in, just felt all around very comfortable.
If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?
No changes.
