2026 Rossignol Sender Soul 102 Open Skiswith Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings

The 2026 Rossignol Sender Soul 102, paired with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings, builds on the foundation of the Sender Free 110 to create a highly versatile mid-width all-mountain freeride ski. Designed to be light enough for hybrid backcountry adventures, yet beefy enough to handle resort terrain, the 102 stands out as the most adaptable model in the Sender lineup. It seamlessly combines freeride performance with all-mountain versatility, catering to skiers who need a setup capable of handling a wide range of conditions. We paired the Sender Soul 102 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The Sender Soul 102 offers a remarkable balance of characteristics, making it an excellent choice for various applications, from hybrid backcountry to resort freeride and crud-busting. Its versatility allows it to perform exceptionally well across different terrains and snow conditions.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert skiers who require a dependable ski for any terrain or snow condition will find the Sender Soul 102 to be a versatile and reliable option.

Highlights:

The Sender Soul 102 features a wood PEFC core with LCT (Line Control Technology), delivering stability and a composed feel even at high speeds and during significant impacts. The Titanal Beam running the length of the ski enhances both longitudinal and torsional stiffness, while also damping vibrations. Full-length rectangular sidewalls provide additional edge grip and longitudinal stiffness, contributing significantly to on-trail carving performance. Air Tip technology reduces tip weight, resulting in a low swing weight and increased agility in technical terrain. The VAS (Vibration Absorption System) further enhances vibration damping, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride throughout the day. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

The Sender Soul 102 offers a damp and stable ride, which may not suit skiers who prefer a ski with high reactiveness and rebound.
