Solid technical skills, mixed with a park background. I'm not the sendiest guy on the hill, but I'll take my share of calculated airs. It's all about finding small transitions and controlling speed for me. Rather than chargey, I'd describe myself as surfy. Lots of edge work and turning skis sideways to manage speed. I enjoy working with the flex pattern of a ski as much as the camber/rocker profile or sidecut of it.

I skied this on gondolier with hard pack groomers and granular, as well as some packed bumps in the trees.

Did this length feel short, long, or just right? Would you recommend sizing up or down, or does it ski "true to size?" Would you choose this length for yourself?

Just right. I think for me, for park use, I’d stick to this size, even if it’s a few cm shorter than what I’d choose for an all mountain ski.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

My first impression was that the Omen Team is simply a high quality park ski. Keep in mind that this is a pretty speciality type of ski - not everyone is going to want or enjoy a high end park ski. That said, if you’re someone who’s serious about developing skills on rails and jumps, the Omen Team is going to be a great choice. With a solid, medium flex and plenty of contact with the snow, the Omen Team presents itself as an incredibly strong, stable platform for park skiers. Across all twin tips that I skied today, the Omen Team inspired the most confidence.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

You could ski this all over the mountain, but to be honest, it really belongs in the park. It’s a smooth, stable twin tip that’s built to stomp landings. You can feel it just standing on it. While you could certainly take these all over the mountain, there are probably some other twin tips that would be more fun in an all mountain sense. Ultimately, the park is where the Omen Team belongs.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

I would say upper intermediates to expert level skiers. It’s not that it’s particularly hard to ski, but to get the most of it, you definitely want to be hitting jumps and stomping landings.

No additional notes really - this ski is simply meant to hit big jumps and rails.

It felt a little short for my preference, being center mounted I would have preferred a little more length.

The omen is very playful, has enough beef to be fun for a strong skier, and should perform exceptionally in the park and on mountain features.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

For a skier that likes to air it out, ski switch, etc it’ll be fun on anything.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

Advanced. Because of the width I think its geared towards a more advanced skier but sizing down might be appropriate for a higher intermediate skier.

If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?

I would have loved to ski the longer version.

Very playful.

Variable terrain and park. This ski is designed for the park skier. Very playful and nimble so can translate well to skiing chopped up terrain.

Very good. It felt strong yet forgiving.

All terrain. Seemed to perform best on semi-steep small bumps. That being said it pushed through the thick stuff as well.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

I think the ski is best for upper level riders due to its beefiness, but I do think in the right size it could be great for beginners as well.

If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?

I would give more camber and/or longer tip and tail rocker. The ski felt kind of flat under my feet.
