DESCRIPTION

Blending World Cup pedigree with frontside versatility, the 2026 Nordica Dobermann Multigara DC is engineered for skiers who treat groomers like racecourses. With a powerful race plate, dual metal laminates, and a versatile shape, this ski bridges the gap between raw power and precision agility, all while delivering the kind of edge hold and snap that’ll keep you coming back for more.

Why we like it:

It’s rare to find a ski this powerful that doesn’t lock you into one turn shape. The Multigara is lightning-quick and surprisingly adaptable; it's a true groomer weapon with some versatility baked in.

Who it's for:

Expert skiers who crave a high-octane, frontside experience and enjoy mixing up turn shapes will thrive on the Dobermann Multigara DC.

Highlights:

Built with an elastomer Pulse Core sandwiched between two layers of wood and Titanal, the Dobermann has an ultra-damp, confidence-inspiring feel even when the throttle is wide open. A healthy dose of camber, subtle taper in the tip and tail, and a 16-meter radius strike an ideal balance between slalom-like reactivity and GS-style flow, offering outstanding edge hold and rebound on firm snow.

Things to consider:

While the Multigara’s versatility in turn shape sets it apart from pure race skis, it still requires an assertive skiing style and thrives under the feet of an experienced, aggressive skier, meaning it’s not ideal for those seeking an easygoing or forgiving ride. At slower speeds or with less input, the ski can feel stiff and unresponsive. Skiers prioritizing maneuverability in tight spaces, or those who value an easygoing feel over edge grip, will find better options in more accessible frontside skis.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Dobermann Multigara DC skis true to size, and length should be chosen based on typical preferences for on-trail performance.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?
It felt very smooth right out of the gate. Easy to initiate turns. A great “all-mountain” ski for an ex-racer or instructor who likes a performance ski but also wants to explore different terrains and different turn shapes/sizes on the same run. In that sense it is versatile in that you can make it do short, medium and long radius turns both carved and skidded.
For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?
Groomers, steeps.
What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?
Advanced-expert.
If you could change anything about these skis, what would you change and why?
Nothing.
