2027 Rossignol Arcade 84 Open Women's Skis

The 2027 Rossignol Arcade 84 Open W is a lightweight, frontside-focused ski with a bit more bite and stability for women ready to ski faster and explore more terrain. With a versatile 84 mm waist and an open binding platform, it’s designed for confident progression across groomers and light off-piste conditions.

Why we like it:

It steps things up just enough, offering more edge grip and support than entry-level Arcade models while still feeling easy and intuitive underfoot. It’s a smooth transition ski for those ready to grow.

Who it's for:

Intermediate women skiers looking for a stable, maneuverable ski with room to push into higher speeds and more variable terrain. Ideal for frontside progression with a touch of all-mountain versatility.

Highlights:

With an 84 mm waist and a poplar wood core, the Arcade 84 Open W balances edge-to-edge agility with a slightly wider footprint for more comfort in choppy snow or shallow powder. The ski features a 132–84–120 mm sidecut and a 15-meter turn radius in the 176 cm length, favoring longer, cruisier turns at speed. Weighing in at just 3.3 kg per pair, it remains light and manageable while providing more edge hold and composure than narrower counterparts. As an “open” model, it comes flat without bindings, giving skiers the freedom to mount a system that fits their boot and binding preferences.

Things to consider:

The open platform offers flexibility but requires a separate binding purchase and mounting. While versatile, this ski is still frontside-first, and it’s not built for deep snow or aggressive freeride terrain.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to size. Sizing down is common practice for a frontside ski like this if you desire various and dynamic turn shapes rather than outright high-speed stability at longer turn shapes.
