2026 Rossignol Nova 8 Women's Skiswith Dalbello Boots and Poles

Smooth flex and effortless carving are what the Rossignol Nova 8 is built around. It sits in the sweet spot of Rossignol's women's frontside line, offering grace and predictable control without punishing a skier for every small mistake. The payoff is one of the most composed rides in the collection, made for women who want performance on trail without a demanding personality. The Nova 8 is complimented nicely by the friendly and forgiving Cabrio MV 75. We chose this boot so that beginner skiers could have a comfortable, warm ski boot that's easy to ski in, easy to walk in, and easy to get on and off. With a relatively soft flex and a cozy liner, this boot has everything you want for a long day of progressing day on the hill.

Who it's for:

Intermediate women who ski groomers regularly and want dependable carving without a ski that demands perfection. It suits skiers building consistency who still want a real edge underneath them.

Things to consider:

The forgiveness that makes this ski pleasant also means it reaches a ceiling; a strong skier loading it hard will want the firmer Nova 10 or 14. Like the rest of the frontside Novas, it isn't built for soft snow.

Fit & sizing considerations:

This ski is happy at a length matching the skier's height, which keeps it easy to manage without giving away edge. A skier who has just moved up from a shorter beginner ski should resist jumping two sizes at once, since the extra length changes how the ski finishes a turn.
