This ski feels locked in was my first thought. There has to be intention to break the edges free.

This ski will excel all over the mountain but mainly on piste.

A strong intermediate can handle this ski with no issues. This ski’s stiffness will help progress a strong intermediate skier.

The Stance Pro 82 laid down some beautiful medium and long turns. It stayed poised and ready for what was next.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

This ski ripped a medium radius carve very well, it also does perform steered short turns greatly, and I think the shape with how much taper it has would be good for packed down bumps and trees. The ski does not like to be run flat and fast, which is fine because carving is more fun. I suspect a lot of people who heel push or ski lateral will not like this ski. It also does slow speed, instructor style skiing very nicely.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

Groomers and hard pack off piste.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

Strong intermediate and up because of the big sweet spot and easy-going nature. Aggressive, but not skilled skiers will not like it. Aggressive, carvers of all ability levels will probably like this.

The Stance Pro line does not ski anything like the Stance line and in my opinion, that is a good thing.

This was a quick turning ski for its size. It carves like it should and construction and length made it quite stable.

Front side groomer. It’s made to carve.

Intermediate on up.

This is a great ski if you’d like a longer board which maintains quickness. The back end comes around quickly I think because of the slight rocker.

A stiffer and more aggressive ski when compared to the Stance 84 R

This ski is more suited for frontside skiers who stick to marked trails.

More advanced skiers will probably prefer the increased stiffness and tighter turn radius that this ski provides when compared to the Stance 84 R, especially if they like feeling Gs when carving.

The Stance Pros are a versitle frontside ski that are enjoyable whether you’re skiing with the whole family or sneaking off to take a lap on the Front Four.

This is a beefy all mountain ski. It skied solidly in short, medium, and long turns as well as easy bumps.

Recommend for all terrain, although I did not ski in the woods.

Advanced skier. The ski is moderately stiff and held well on ice. Was poppy and performed well in all turn radii.

The Stance Pro skis long with very little rocker. I normally ski a 163 but didnt have a problem skiing a 151. I wouldn't buy that length but it was still stable so consider going down a size.

I really liked this frontside ski. It carved well and was extremely stable. It excelled at all turn sizes. It was forgiving and held the turn.

This is a good ski for east coast groomers.

The Stance is a good advanced intermediate ski!

I enjoyed this ski on a variable groomer, but could see it being fun on bumps and in the trees.

This ski provides a fun experience in variable conditions and responds well to different ski styles, turn shapes, and quick redirection. It skied a little on ice and I could feel some chatter, which is perhaps the trade off for a playful, zippy ski.

I was pleasantly surprised by this ski! Similar to a Kore 87. Felt quicker edge to edge than the width would suggest. Very playful in spring slush and bumps. Fairly easy going but can also be pushed at higher speeds and more dynamic turns.

All-mountain, bumps, groomers, trees, groomers, soft snow, 1-4” powder.

Intermediate-advanced. Great all-mountain ski for an intermediate looking for a one ski squiver to ski the whole mountain a few days a season.
