DESCRIPTION

New for 2027, the Salomon Stance W Pro 88 with Marker Squire 11 Bindings brings serious performance to the frontside with a women-specific construction tuned for precision and power. Built with dual Titanal laminates and a full camber profile, this 88 mm-waisted ski feels smooth and stout no matter the terrain, giving expert skiers the confidence to push hard from first chair to last lap. We paired the Stance Pro 88 Women's with the Marker Squire 11 because of the Squire’s high performance and dependability for lighter weight all mountain and freeride skiers. With a light weight construction and a safe, reliable release, the Squire 11 is a go to choice to keep performance high and weight low.

Why we like it:

When we want to feel locked in and powerful on edge, few skis deliver like the Stance W Pro 88. It’s an unapologetically strong platform with impressive damping and edge hold, perfect for aggressive skiers who value control and confidence on firm snow.

Who it's for:

Best for advanced to expert women who love fast skiing and clean arcs on firm snow. Directional skiers who prioritize power over playfulness will love the security and stability this ski offers across a variety of resort conditions.

Highlights:

At the heart of the ski is a responsive Karuba/Poplar wood core, enhanced with Salomon’s Twin Frame 2 construction and two full sheets of Titanal for superior edge hold and smoothness. Rocker at the tip and tail (15%/12%) offers a touch of forgiveness and added maneuverability, while the full camber profile underfoot delivers tenacious grip. A recycled base adds sustainability points without compromising speed or performance. Marker’s Triple Pivot Light 2 Toe and Hollow Linkage Heel systems work in tandem to provide powerful energy transmission to the ski, allowing for maximum edge grip and control of the ski. Lighter weight skiers can rest easy knowing the Squire 11 will be easier than ever to step into thanks to a re-designed heel piece. Perhaps the most underappreciated feature of the Squire 11 is the anti-ice rail, which sits on top of the toepiece and can be used to scrape the sole of your boots clean before stepping in.

Things to consider:

This ski is built to be driven. If you prefer a looser, more playful ride or want a forgiving ski for mixed terrain, the W Pro 88 may be a bit too locked-in for your taste.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to size. Go shorter for added agility, or stick with your usual length to tap into the ski’s full stability and carving potential.

Very maneuverable. Floaty tip but solid camber ed body that felt fairly stable!

Good in most all terrain.., groomers, bumps, light powder days. Stable on firm snow but playful enough and floaty enough tip for powder/slush.

Intermediate to advanced skiers that like to play all over the mountain!
