2027 Salomon Stance Pro 96 Skiswith Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings

The 2027 Salomon Stance Pro 96 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is an all-mountain charger designed for skiers who crave top-tier power, precision, and versatility. Sitting at the wider end of the Stance Pro family, this ski brings elite-level edge hold and speed stability to a platform that can confidently blast through chop, arc groomers, and attack off-piste terrain—all without losing its composure. We paired the Stance Pro 96 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The Stance Pro 96 fuses the edge grip of a true frontside weapon with the versatility to roam when conditions call for it. It holds its line through crud and variable snow while rewarding skiers who like to stay in the driver’s seat. The result is a ski that’s as thrilling to lay over on groomers as it is reliable in the rough.

Who it's for:

Advanced and expert skiers who want a directional all-mountain ski that delivers confidence on edge and composure at speed. This is a great choice for Western skiers who need something wide enough to handle fresh snow but still demand grip, or Eastern skiers looking to add width without sacrificing power.

Highlights:

At its heart is a lively yet solid Karuba and Poplar core, reinforced with Salomon’s Double Ti laminate for maximum edge grip and vibration damping. Twin Frame 2 construction enhances forebody stiffness and overall precision, while 17% tip rocker and 12% tail rocker provide release and adaptability in soft or broken snow. Full camber underfoot keeps things locked in on the firm stuff. With a turn radius of 17–20 meters depending on length, the Stance Pro 96 feels intuitive at speed without sacrificing maneuverability. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

This is not a laid-back, surfy ski. While it’s not punishing, it thrives under a forward stance and confident technique. If you’re looking for a more playful or loose ride, something in the QST family may suit you better.

Fit & sizing considerations:

True to size. Skiers who want a more maneuverable, quicker ride may size down slightly, while those focused on speed and edge hold should stay true to their usual all-mountain length.
