What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

Great for firm groomers; it’s definitely a ski you want to ski sharp to get its full potential. I felt like I’d enjoy this ski in a race course.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

Firm groomers.

Intermediate to expert, as well as ex-racers.

I can’t imagine it being a fun, playfu, all around ski but if you love getting a ski up on edge, it’s great.

I loved the shorter 154 length. It made this stiff race ski so playful and fun. The 160 was steady and secure but required more effort.

The 154 was just so fun to ski on this hard pack day. No fear of slipping and effortless turns.

Hard pack. It grips and gives you confidence of no slipping.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

I tried to ski this while Matt was filming me like I had just skied the atomic cloud and kastle mx74 and it was terrifying. This ski wants to slow down and make nice short turns.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

Groomed frontside terrain. They would also probably hold up nicely as things got steep and firm.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

Strong intermediate and above looking to make slow, pretty, turns.

When I’m old I would take these to Italy with me.

Very much a Stockli ski - stiff but responsive to some turn pressure.

Groomers, icier terrain. It is a very solid ski, so it’s easy to turn on softer snow, or power through firmer conditions without having to worry about keeping the edge.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

Advanced to expert. These skis are meant to be turned! Skiers need to have the ability to pressure a stiffer ski and hold it throughout the turn.

This ski rocks! Short, snappy, turns or medium radius turns are what it likes to do. Solid flex, easy initiation, great edge grip, and a smooth ride.

Groomers, race, moguls, anything frontside.

Advanced skiers who can work the ski. Responded well to being pushed harder, but held its own at lower speeds as well.

Wow! My first thought was this ski is making me a better skier. The ski initiates the turn so smoothly and it feels like it is helping you engage throughout the turn.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

I would stick to groomers and maybe bumps with this ski. If you want to fully feel what this ski has to offer find some groomers!

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

I would recommend this ski for advanced/expert ladies. This skis feels awesome on edge and needs a skier that understands how to get the most out of this ski.

Anything else you want to tell us about your experience on these skis?

I really liked how well this ski carved but also handled when things got more variable. I was able to do more swing style turns and they handled those well on steep icy pitch. They also felt stable and not grabby in thr sugar snow that would pile up.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

This ski charged through the ice. It held a strong, confident edge and let me really drive it without hesitation. It came around nicely and initiated turns very well.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

I’d recommend this ski for groomers and firm, icy conditions. At 67 mm underfoot with a tight 12.8 m turning radius, it feels built for carving clean, precise turns. Its edge hold and responsiveness make it especially strong on hardpack where it instilled confidence.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

This ski is best for a strong advanced/expert skier who likes to carve. It required a bit more to drive the ski and stay engaged throughout the turn. It is a great ski for speed, edge hold and grip.

The Stockli Lazer MP looks serious, but don’t be fooled, they’ve got a secret party mode once you hit the snow. Super fun, yet still stable enough to power through any chop without getting tossed around.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

The Stockli Lazer MPs are meant for on piste front side terrain. Bumps could be fun too.

The Stockli Lazer MP's are not for the faint of heart. These skis are for a serious advanced skier.

Once you find the sweet spot, buckle up, these skis really come alive. They’ve got a playful side too, with a lot of pop and energy that makes them an absolute blast.

The MP Laser made me want to be a slalom skier again! What a treat to enjoy a slalom ski with a forgiving turn radius and lets have fun personality!

The MP Laser made me want to ski more slalom turns - delightfully! It also made me question my early season ski choice ftom a gs / all mountain to the MP Laser as an early season mileage and turn enhancer.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

In taking my first few turns it became immediately apparent to me that these skis want to go fast and they want to turn quickly. Each turn was extremely smooth and quiet showing off its damp and torsionally stiff build.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

This is definitely a very specific ski built for on-piste groomers and firm snow. I found them to be stable and have really good edge grip so I was as comfortable as I could be in the icy terrain that we were experiencing that morning.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

I would say this ski is designed for an advanced or a high-intermediate looking to progress their skills. The main reason is that intermediate skiers could like the quick edge-to-edge but may struggle with the demanding nature of the ski while advanced skiers will appreciate the precise feel and edge grip.
