2027 Blizzard Anomaly Jr skis Junior Skiswith Comp J Boots and Poles

Blizzard's all-new Anomaly Series gets a youth translation in the Anomaly Jr, scaled and tuned for kids working their way through all-mountain terrain. Junior-specific construction keeps it light and appropriately soft for smaller bodies without giving up the stable feel that makes varied snow manageable. FDT junior bindings adjust with growing boots. It's an all-around platform that keeps pace with a developing skier instead of holding one back. We selected to pair the Anomaly Jr skis with the Rossignol Comp J Boy’s ski boots because of its comfort and reliable support that it provides for early skiing experiences. Its soft flex, easy-to-use buckle system, and cozy liner, make these boots the perfect match for these skis and beginner skiers who need a reliable and user-friend boot.

Who it's for:

Kids working their way through varied all-mountain terrain who need one ski for everything the day contains. It suits developing intermediates rather than absolute beginners.

Things to consider:

Being an all-rounder, it specializes in nothing, and a kid focused on the park or on carving will find a purpose-built ski more rewarding. The soft junior flex also limits how hard it can be pushed before it starts to feel loose.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Choose the length by what the child skis now, bearing in mind that a ski too long is harder to finish a turn on and quietly slows progress. The adjustable binding absorbs a season or two of foot growth, which takes some pressure off sizing the ski ahead.
