2027 DPS Kaizen 105 Skis
SKU SKZ10527The 2027 DPS Kaizen 105 is wider-waisted big brother to the Kaizen 100, aimed squarely at hard-charging skiers who want a do-it-all ski that doesn't get pushed around. DPS positions it as their closest answer to a one-ski quiver.
Why we like it:
The combination of full carbon construction and a longer turn radius makes this ski feel uncommonly stable for its weight. There's a planted, settled feel through the turn that you don't always get from carbon skis, and that opens up the ski's terrain range substantially.
Who it's for:
Advanced and expert all-mountain skiers who like to ski with intent. Great for skiers who want a single ski for most of their resort days, lean toward fast and aggressive skiing, and want real soft-snow capability without sacrificing firm-snow performance.
Highlights:
The Kaizen 105 uses the same construction recipe as the 100, with full carbon laminates over a Patented Dual Layer Wood Core of poplar and ash, and a Carbon Power Plate underfoot. Where it differs is in the shape and personality. The slightly wider waist and longer turn radius make this ski more comfortable at speed and in bigger turns, and the rocker profile is tuned a touch flatter than the 100 for more edge contact and stability. It's a ski that rewards strong input. Push hard into a turn and you'll get a clean, energetic exit out the other side. Rockwell 48 steel edges and a World Cup Race Base with factory Phantom Glide complete the build.
Things to consider:
This is a more demanding ski than the Kaizen 100. The longer radius and stiffer overall feel mean it asks more of the skier, especially at lower speeds. If you ski with a more relaxed style or spend a lot of time in tight terrain, the Kaizen 100 will feel more friendly.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Skis true to size. If you ski with confidence and prefer big, fast turns, size up.
