2027 Fischer Ranger Jr Skiswith FS CA JRS Bindings

Learning to ski is mostly about being able to point the ski where you want it to go, and the Fischer Ranger Jr is built to make that as easy as possible. It's a junior all-around ski for groomed runs, narrow underfoot and very light, with a flex Fischer tuned specifically around how little a child weighs. A slight lift in the tip keeps it from catching as a new skier slides into a turn, and the short shape brings turns around quickly without much steering input. The lengths here sit at the shorter end of the run, so it suits younger children still in their first seasons.

Who it's for:

Small children in their first or second winter on groomed terrain. The short lengths suit light skiers whose main task is getting the ski to point where they want it.

Things to consider:

A ski this narrow has no float at all, which makes a soft-snow day a slog. Its flex is drawn around learning, so a child who picks up real speed will run past what it can hold.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These lengths sit at the shorter end of the Ranger Jr run by design, which is what brings turns around without much steering input. Take the size that lets the child finish a turn comfortably rather than the one that leaves room to grow.
