DESCRIPTION

The 2027 Head Kore 99 TI W with Marker Squire 11 Bindings gives wider-waisted all-mountain skiing for women a thoughtful treatment. Built around a women's-specific poplar and recycled PET core with titanal underfoot and a tip-to-tail rocker profile, it's a freeride-leaning ski that floats in soft snow yet has the bones for speed and chop. We paired the Kore 99 TI with the Marker Squire 11 because of the Squire’s high performance and dependability for lighter weight all mountain and freeride skiers. With a light weight construction and a safe, reliable release, the Squire 11 is a go to choice to keep performance high and weight low.

Why we like it:

Recycled PET stringers in the core are a small detail with a big impact. They keep the ski light and bring a damped, smooth feel to a traditional wood layup, so it feels lively without getting shoved around in chop.

Who it's for:

Strong women skiers who want a wider daily driver with real off-trail capability. It's a natural fit for those in deeper-snow regions chasing one ski for powder mornings, mixed afternoons, and the occasional cruise back to the lift on groomers.

Highlights:

The women's-specific build opens with a poplar and recycled PET core, tuned to lighter rider weights and a lower environmental footprint, which we always appreciate. Titanal layers bring the damping and torsional stiffness needed to grip hard snow, and a Graphene layer adds strength without the weight. Head's long tip-to-tail rocker blends an easy turn-in with strong camber underfoot, and a 99 mm waist supplies the freeride float. Marker’s Triple Pivot Light 2 Toe and Hollow Linkage Heel systems work in tandem to provide powerful energy transmission to the ski, allowing for maximum edge grip and control of the ski. Lighter weight skiers can rest easy knowing the Squire 11 will be easier than ever to step into thanks to a re-designed heel piece. Perhaps the most underappreciated feature of the Squire 11 is the anti-ice rail, which sits on top of the toepiece and can be used to scrape the sole of your boots clean before stepping in.

Things to consider:

It's wider underfoot than a true all-mountain ski, so it will not carve quite as crisply on firm snow as the narrower Kore 93 TI W or 87 TI W. If your time is spent more on groomers than off them, either of those is a better starting point.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Standard women's lengths apply, so choose the all mountain length you normally ride. You could skew shorter for nimbler handling or longer for extra float and stability at higher speeds if that's your priority.
